The Young Lawyers Section is open to ISBA members who are less than 36 years of age or are in their first five years of admission to practice in good standing. The section carries on activities designed to be of assistance to young lawyers and of benefit to the citizens of Indiana. In conjunction with the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, it conducts a comprehensive practice skills course for new lawyers. Among other public service projects, it produces the Legal Stuff (You Should Know!) teen law manual and the Alcohol and Automobiles videotape, both of which are in high demand in Indiana’s high schools. YLS also operates an e-mail listserve that provides its members a forum for exchanging questions, ideas and practice tips.
