U.S. Supreme Court admission applications being accepted

Admissions Application
Admissions Instructions

Your Association makes arrangements for the admission ceremony, a breakfast, a group picture and a tour of the facility. The next group swearing in for Hoosier lawyers is scheduled for March 22. Our group will get to observe an oral argument before the Court on that day.

It is assumed that all applications will be approved. If you have a disciplinary action pending or have had a confirmed disciplinary action in the past, the U.S. justices may deny or delay your application. The ISBA cannot be held responsible for any cost you may incur in arranging for travel to the ceremony if this should happen.

Each attorney is encouraged to make his or her own travel and hotel arrangements. The cost for the application is $200, and there is an additional cost of approximately $40 for a group picture and breakfast in one of the Court dining rooms. Return your application to the ISBA office no later than Feb. 19. At this time, do not send any payment.

For an application, please contact Susan Jacobs, 800-266-2581.

Or download an admission application and instructions. (Please return your application to Susan Jacobs, not the Supreme Court, at the Indiana State Bar Association, One Indiana Square, Suite 530 Indianapolis, IN 46204.)
